Today I'm going to tell you the story of Nicolás García and Carlos Martínez , the creative minds behind Eleven People. Two men with a shared vision: to create extraordinary scented candles and fragrance blocks that evoke memories.
Sustainable scented candles and natural scent blocks
Eleven People is a small, exquisite candle studio from Asturias, Spain handmade scented candles and scent blocks since 2019 – each piece crafted with attention to detail.
Eleven People fragrances are born from memories of travels, special places, and unforgettable moments. Each candle and fragrance block thus becomes a small piece of emotion, craftsmanship, and well-being .
Made from plant-based soy wax and organic cotton wicks , these candles burn cleanly , are vegan, cruelty-free , and free of preservatives . The natural fragrances are composed of phthalate-free botanical oils and are inspired by nature's purest essences , for a sustainable and healthy fragrance experience.
How was Eleven People created?
When Carlos and Nico met, they immediately felt a special connection – so strong that they gave up their previous jobs and embarked on a new adventure together, guided by their passion.
From their family home in Barcia, Los Oscos, a picturesque village in western Asturias, they immersed themselves in the fascinating world of fragrances, constantly inspired by their surroundings, travels and encounters.
Why Eleven People?
Carlos was born on November 11th at 11:11 PM.
The number 11 has accompanied him throughout his life.
Nico previously worked on a project centered around the numbers 8, 9 and 10.
The 11th edition therefore became the perfect sequel.
The word "People" represents their passion for fragrances and their connection to emotions and memories.
This resulted in 11 special fragrance compositions that capture places, people and journeys in scented candles and fragrance blocks.

The boxes are made from organic waste materials.
